Super Mario Wars 64
A downloadable game for Windows
Allow me to introduce to you the fan project: SuperMarioWars64. This is an exciting strategy game set in the Nintendo universe, or as I like to call it, an L.S.G (Light Strategy Game) due to its straightforward and simple gameplay, distinguishing it from complex titles like Age of Empires or Starcraft. I've taken a unique approach to this project that sets it apart.
This game has been a labor of love, and I've dedicated a considerable amount of time to its development.
Now, I'm thrilled to showcase to you what I have accomplished so far.
-Decide the faction of your team
-Preset the buildings of your base
-Decide which towers you want
-Arrange the equipments and the gear of units
Connect two x controllers, choose your faction and see who can manage to control the kingdom ! (Still in testing, feedback is welcome)

-You will access the download page, just search download and click it
-if it gives a warning that the file is too big just click the download anyway button.
-Unpack the ZIP where you think is more convenient for you
-Double click the SuperMarioWars64.exe file
-Now you are testing the game!

Really cool game, like it a lot! There are some things that could be fixed like making the units go to the spot that is getting attacked because sometimes they would just walk right past the enemy and let them through. Also, I was not able to build towers when I tried it acted like I did not have enough coins, but I did. I address some other problems in my video, but still a really cool idea and would love to see this developed further!

also, I agree; the game has maaaany issues hahahah it was a very nice project but it grew too much for me to solo-develop it (also I wanted to learn some other things).
I was thinking at some point involving some more friends to continue it but in the end, I thought it was "presentable" the way it was. sooo the version A0.95 should be the last one unless a miracle happens.

Do you mean becoming one unit and fight using him? because... actually, once that was planned but theeeen I decided to start a new project. Maybe if I get a little time off my studies and a little tired of my other project I can look into it. Hey, I just dont think is going to be soon (telling you, just in case).
But answering your question directly, yes; it can be done.
Since youre here i should say that (if you return to this game) more cards should be added,as each faction kinda feels like cosmetically diffferent as a pose to functionally and cosmetically different. I very much did enjoy this game though, i loved the unit gearing system.
